What is Bowl for Kids’ Sake?

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is one of our largest community events that we hold each year to raise money to match more children facing adversity with mentors who serve as friends and positive role models.  The bowling event is held at AMF South Hills in Cary.  Our event will take place on April 2nd, 2022.  Friends, colleagues, and family members form Bowl for Kids’ Sake teams and ask others to sponsor their participation with donations. Teams are comprised of four to five bowlers who raise a minimum of $500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle.  Corporate sponsors come together with teams from their companies, giving their employees the chance to compete against each other, raise money and make the event a great financial success.  Teams enjoy Bowl for Kids’ Sake FUN – free bowling, prizes, team photos, and give-a-ways!

Who can participate?

Everyone! Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a family-friendly event open to all ages. Individuals and groups representing companies, schools, clubs, professional and civic organizations all create teams and participate in Bowl for Kids’ Sake.   No bowling experience is required!  We just have fun and fellowship, knowing that we are helping children across the Triangle just by our participation.

Where does the money go?
All funds raised through Bowl for Kids’ Sake fund our agency in order to provide more local children with mentoring relationships that are proven to help them succeed in school, avoid harmful behaviors, and reach their full potential.
